Bubble Bobbler is a physics-based platformer where bubbles aren’t just for fun—they’re your key to success! Use a bubble gun with multiple firing modes to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles.

Originally created for Global Game Jam 2025 (topic: Bubble), this game started as a passion project and may see future updates with new levels, mechanics, and challenges. Stay tuned for more!

I'm excited to check out Bubble Bobbler! It looks like a fun platformer with a unique bubble mechanic and interesting puzzles. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the Global Game Jam 2025 topic for updates, and will join Discord if they have a public channel available.

You look like the type of person who'd enjoy this jam: WOW JAM

They have a very interesting platform and are even offering prizes xD

Hi Nikola, thanks for the kind words! I've checked out the game jam you recommended and while I'd be interested in joining, I unfortunately don't have time at the moment. I'm currently on schedule to release a demo version of my main game (not Bubble Bobbler) in the coming weeks.

:) ❤️

its bubble kino.

some feedback

  • spamming bubbles is fun and chaotic
  • i like the different ammo types, wish i could switch between them with the number keys 1-4
  • sound effects are very well done, but the buzzing light droning sound made my head hurt after a few minutes.
  • took me a minute to actually figure out how to control bubbles with rmb + scroll wheel
  • was able to smash all the walls just by spamming rock bubbles at them. only realized afterwards this was probably not the intended solution
  • mouse sensitivity is 5x what i am used to, a slider would be nice

Overall its a nice start. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the comment! This project was pretty much rushed due to the game jam and I didn't bother much with polishing a lot of things. But yeah, I agree with your feedback. Once I'm done with my main game, I'm planning on returning to this one as I have tons of plans and ideas with a cool backstory/lore planned out as well.
